Wow, these gave me such a hit of nostalgia. I do remember them mostly being posted on friends' walls. I remember seeing a couple of them in peoples' comments on LJ posts too. These days I only really see graphics like this included in scanlation group releases, like if they're greeting one of their group members who just had a birthday.
