Mar. 30th, 2025 08:27 amI am SO bad at keeping a schedule.
#2: On what kind of machine or device do you prefer to play video games?
I love me a good handheld console. I love the DS and 3DS families of consoles. I wish they made Discord for 3DS every day. I also liked my brother's Vita, but he threw it away years ago without anyone asking if maybe I want it... 💢 And I think the Switch Lites are sooo cute, but I can't justify buying them when I already own a Switch. The only handhelds I've owned are Nintendo, so of course if I say my favorite is the 3DS I'm operating with little information here. Plus, if you hack a console you can play games from many consoles, so I don't want to pick by judging the game library for a console either. I like all handhelds. ..................... Well, the ones that aren't backlit are hard for me to use. I died repeatedly in Aria of Sorrow to some spikes on the ground I couldn't see at all. So, in conclusion: I love all backlit handhelds 👍🏾
#3: Are there any common misconceptions about something you like that you'd like to clear up?
Imagine how many misunderstandings would be put to an end if we called otome games "maiden games" instead... "Why don't maiden games ever let me play as a boy?" <- Ridiculous question only fools would ask

#4: What's your favorite way to show your fandom pride (cosplay, apparel, tattoos, etc.)?
Tattoos are definitely out of the question. My feelings may change, and while I respect people who consider such tattoos as a symbol of something that used to be important to them, I need to be able to shed my skin and start anew at any time. I theoretically like cosplay but I've never done it before. That costs money I don't have, and I've never been to a con or anything, so the occasion for spending money like that has never come up. Wearing keychains and charms was nice, but I've lost four (too many), so I don't do that anymore. (I still love keychains, but they're hung up in the privacy of my home.) Ideally I'd wear stylish apparel, but the things I really like don't have readily-available clothing. Some are only available online and are quite overpriced, and most just don't have any apparel at all. I own some band tees and anime tees for shows I'm not even passionate about. Tthey're nice, but I do sometimes wish I could wear merch for something I'm crazy about (BUCK-TICK, Fire Emblem, etc.) instead of things I think are aight (The Cure, Inuyasha, etc.).
TLDR; Right now, I typically use apparel, but none of the apparel I own represents anything I'm crazy about.
#5: A pairing you wish you shipped, but just can't.
It'd be nice if I was sold on Johnny/Testament. But I'm not. I mean... Okay, here's the deal: I saw their intro in Strive. I've analyzed the situation. They've fucked. Possibly more than once. BUT. That doesn't mean I have to support it. Tes could do better... And I wish I could show it, but right now art for me doesn't come as easily as it once did. I hope I can explain further through pictures one day.
