Entry About Over Requiemz

elyusionI realized if I'm thinking about something really hard, I don't have to wait until Saturday to post about it. 🤯 Crazy of me, I know.
I also have no icon that quite expresses the emotion I feel. I really need to add more icons. Anyways.
You. Ever since it was first announced I was seated. I like how despite being pretty colorful, the art still looks *dark* and you can tell it's a dark game, if that makes sense. It inspires me, since I'm the way I am but use a fair amount of color in my art. (Or did, since I barely draw anymore, but that's neither here nor there.) The protagonist is cute and sleek and black and blue. I think she stands out a bit among protags. And the guys all have long hair except one, like Virche.
What inspired this fit today was that they uploaded the first set of voice samples. I took a stab at translating them for fun. (Bsky, Fedi) I would translate everything on the site, but Otomate isn't exactly indie... I'm sure someone on Tumblr or Reddit has done it all for me, even the voice clips. The voices are so good I think I really get how people listen to non-sex audio dramas now. I would say "NSFW", but like, even the "SFW" audio dramas I would recommend against playing at work. Lol. In fact, I just put the website on my phone to listen to them through my headphones instead of my desktop computer's speaker. Wow...
You know, I didn't expect Kaize to be so soft. I pegged him as an emo boy immediately and assumed he'd be the rude type, but he's putting the emo in emotional here! I already knew I'd like him. Molly I was kind of whatever about, but the voice line intrigues me. And I've been obsessed with Dorothy from the start and can't say what I'm thinking on an entry I don't want to put a warning on. I didn't know he'd be a creepy weirdo! Creepy weirdos with beautiful hair fans, we won. I like the other two's voice lines too - I can see the appeal for sure and I'll have no problems playing their routes - but they're not my type. For the record, Molly's look isn't entirely my type either, but that voice line sure is.
The game system seems interesting too! As interesting as an Otomate game's system can get. Sorry. Let me not be a hater (and Neoromance supremacist). They made it so conversation choices don't affect how they feel, so you can pick whatever you want and be true to your heart. I think you pick character routes from the start, so it's not like you have to win one over to start their route? I wonder how often they plan to let you chat it up if such a feature is in the game. It's not like this is a simulation game. It has a setup like a roleplaying game, to be honest. I wish it was an RPG otome. Missed opportunity. Curse you Otomate. But I don't feel too disappointed, since I obviously don't go into Otomate games expecting gameplay besides reading and making a choice sometimes.
So. TLDR. I need Over Requiemz in my lap neow. When they upload pictures for the gallery that will probably minorly sate me, but I kind of need to meet Dorothy right now. Kaize too. It's free emo boy.
Now that I think about it. If they had just tweaked how the heroine looks a little, this bsky post I made could have been reality! Fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
