Challenge #6: Top 10 Challenge

I finally finished going through my reading page, which means I can continue this without guilty B) Now presenting, without further ado:

Top 10 Photographed Fashion Game Fits
To qualify:
1. It must be an outfit I put on my player character, not something coordinated for an NPC or another player.
2. It must be from a pre-existing screenshot. I cannot open the game, make new outfits, and take new pictures. Or else I would play all day and never have the time to make this post.

All fits are from Style Savvy: Styling Star (worse graphics), Fashion Dreamer (better graphics), and Animal Crossing: New Horizons (chibi/toy-like graphics). No Splatoon fits because I lost them all during The Purge. So it goes.


10. That One Time I Wore Urban

In Style Savvy specifically. I wear it much more in Fashion Dreamer. This fit makes me feel at home since it's basically what everyone dressed like when I was a child :') A recurring theme in this list: I wish I had taken pics of me in the outfit by myself! I've learned I don't utilize the photo booths enough.

9. Baby Witch. Baby.

Fucked up this is the only (good) picture I have of me wearing a pacifier, because I remember wearing them constantly TT Color-coordinating them to match my fit no matter how cool or edgy it was supposed to be. Sadly no other game will let me wear binkies, so they are bad.
I feel compelled to clarify that it's not a kink thing.

8. Sporty Orientalism

7. Pink Jacket




It's not really anything special -- you could wear this in real life and no one would really look at you crazy (except for if you wear the bunny ears I guess) -- but I still really like it. And I kinda want this hair color in real life, but I think all the #edgy people like red so I chose for my color to be purple instead, and red and purple don't really go together I think so I can't have red hair again :'''''( I like purple hair too but y'know... I should save this talk for my hypothetical capsule wardrobe results post. Regardless! Pretty in pink :)

6. First Time Having Swag Kinda Nervous

I think the title tells it all. Alexa play Kick, Push by Lupe Fiasco.

5. Bouba



I feel like this fit is considered very "basic" in the Fashion Dreamer world. None of articles of clothing are particularly rare or anything. But it's cute! I fuck with it 💯

4. B/W Orientalism


Really should've taken more pics in this. It's cute and mature and intelligent-looking :]

3. Sugar Daddy


Objectively this should be at #1, but there are things I enjoy more than being a sexy grandpa. But I certainly don't hate being a sexy grandpa! And thus, this fit wins bronze. The first outfit, as you can tell if you play ACNH, is the broke version for people pretending to be rich, but the second version is genuinely rich. That's aaaaaaall designer babeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

2. Holy Shit Is That Testament Guilty Gear


Banging my head against the wall for not getting any full-body or solo pictures of this fit. All I got is someone else's showroom and twinning with the bestie u_u
It's a really really cute dress, dare I even call it risqué, but the utter lack of curves in these games ensure a comfortable lack of sexlessness for any concerned parents :D But it's okay, I'm a very imaginative person.

1. Me When I'm Not Evil



Blatant recency bias wins! This is my current outfit in Styling Star, and I haven't taken it off in weeks in-game, or in multiple play sessions in real life.

✅ Goth outfit
✅ Cute hair
Yup, it's peak. The graphics are doing it a disservice! But I refuse to open up the game and take pictures of it with my phone camera (which would look better than screenshots from the system) because then I definitely won't get anything done today. Just take my word for it, okay?

Special Mentions

1. Colorful Orientalism

So, this Top 10 list was made in collaboration with wintermintly. She wanted #10 to be this, but I was like nahhhhhhhhh. I'll put it here though.

2. Goth Orientalism



I reeeeeeeeeeeally like this outfit, although I admit that it's, like... empty? I don't actually know fashion terms that aren't in Style Savvy well. Let's say the pieces are carrying the outfit, and it's not like I made an actually unique and cool combo. It's literally just a top, skirt, bracelet, and shoes.

But ever since I've made this fit, which was definitely ~5 years ago, I've needed a shirt like this. This is the closest I can find -- and it's on Amazon x_x. If you know where to get a sleeveless mandarin-collar button-down (not across, like with qipaos/cheongsams) that's not baggy and has looong buttons (the top in the game doesn't have frog buttons, I think, but buttons like that if not actual frog buttons), please for the love of all that is holy let me know.
